ADVANCED LEAK DETECTION MODULE :: ALD
FINALLY, AN EASY WAY TO DETECT WATER ON THE FLOOR!
The long-awaited ALD Module now gives your Apex the ability to detect water on the floor in up to four separate locations and tells your Apex to sound an alarm, email you, or whatever action you desire giving you the ultimate in peace of mind. This new module is Plug-and-Play, connecting to the Apex System’s AquaBus. It has four separate probe ports where you can plug in either the optionally available low-profile probe (perfect for under carpets) or the weighted, solid-surface probe. The ALD has four inputs for the ALD probes.
FEATURES OF THE ADVANCED LEAK DETECTION MODULE:
- Easily connects to ANY Apex via the AquaBus interface
- Four independent leak detection channels
- Multiple ALD can be used on one Apex
- Solid-Surface and Low-Profile ALD Probes available (sold separately) – 8′ cable length
- Compatible with all Apex Systems
BECAUSE YOU LIKE CARPET, AND I LIKE HARDWOOD…
Two different ALD probe designs are available. One ALD probe is low-profile and slides easily under the carpet behind or next to your aquarium (pictured). The other probe style is a tad larger and is designed to be placed on solid surfaces. This probe is perfect for inside the bottom of your aquarium cabinet. And, we add extra weight to this probe so that it stays firmly against any surface you set it on. The ALD and the individual leak detection probes are sold separately so that you can mix and match the probes you want to use (up to four per ALD).
LOOK MA, NO WIRES!
Unlike other Do-It-Yourself solutions, the ALD is made specifically for the Apex, is plug-and-play and does not require you to break out your wire-strippers and screwdriver to connect up all the parts. Up to four leak detection modules can be attached with the ease of plugging a telephone into a wall jack.
GET PEACE OF MIND TODAY FOR THE MOST COMMON AQUARIUM MISHAP
With the ALD you can immediately solve one of the biggest issues around having an aquarium. Now, even when you are away from home, your Apex can alert you when: Your ATO sticks and you overflow the sump, your external overflow leaks, a seam starts leaking in your tank, and all the other ways water finds its way OUT of your tank!
